Breathe
Slow Southern
Breeze
Sip
Melon-colored
Sunsets
And sleep
Between sheets
Of star-sprinkled
Skies

Hi Hank! Very familiar with the rain and sunshine combo here, especially in summer :-) We seem to be sharing a lot of similar things lately.. Thank you for the compliment!
DeleteAaaah, Sara, this took me back to Puerto Rico, where melon colored sunsets were frequent. I'm freezing at the moment, typing with those gloves that lack fingertips! Thank you for this reminder that seasons do eventually change. Always, your poetry, so soothing, a gift. Amy
