Southern Comfort

Breathe
Slow Southern
Breeze
Sip
Melon-colored
Sunsets
And sleep
Between sheets
Of star-sprinkled
Skies

This is offered for Poetry Pantry--watching the wintry weather, thought I'd offer up a little warmth from the tropics--Enjoy!

  8. We've had our own comfort relating to the weather too. A downpour yes, rain and sunshine typical of our region is always there. Nicely Sara!

  9. Aaaah, Sara, this took me back to Puerto Rico, where melon colored sunsets were frequent. I'm freezing at the moment, typing with those gloves that lack fingertips! Thank you for this reminder that seasons do eventually change. Always, your poetry, so soothing, a gift. Amy
