Mooed

Just cause I'm
Big and sweet
Don't treat me like a
Piece of meat
Or keep me pregnant
Perpetually
To take my milk
Mechanically
Feed me corn I
Can't digest
Make me live
Knee deep in waste
Twenty deep crammed
Shoulder to tail
Swarming flies
In my eyes
Besides inhumane
And unjust
It's udderly
Ridiculous

  2. This is unique, written from a cow's point of view. It's true that sometimes humans are inhumane to animals. We must treat the earth and its creatures more kindly. Nice write and a good message :)

    1. Hannah unfortunately all this is true, however, I'm not passing judgement on anyone who eats meat. This was just where the muse went that day. Thank you for your heartfelt comments:-)
