With A Cherry on Top

Make it deep and dark
Creamy soft
Enough
To dip a digit
In and swirl
A whirl of pleasure
And anticipation
At my fingertip

This is offered up for Alan's delicious prompt at poetryjaam.blogspot.com about glorious ice cream confections and "what would you top with a cherry?"  Melted chocolate, chocolate frosting, chocolate mousse, ganache--you get the idea..short and sweet.  Enjoy!
