C-Dog

He's curled up perfectly
In a "C"
Be-
Side my
Son and me
Trying to pose
Nonchalantly
Yet he's tensed
Waiting to see
If a piece, a morsel
Might accidentally
Jump ship and land
Near this C-
Dog
In the sand

Photo--coming soon ...

  1. I think we write the same kind of poetry; I've been using the term "poetry snack" for months, and I've been nutty for a lifetime. Most of my poems are quite short. And even my longer ones are long short poems. :)

  2. Hi Shawna- Welcome! So nice to find a kindred "snacker":-)
I loved your series of short poems that you wrote for De and I look forward to reading more. I loved your Rosemary mint description..".perfect scent for hair, tea, and poetry."..very clever
